MATERIALS

LINHASITA® waxed polyester cord /made in Brazil

Since 1975 Linhasita® produce Polyester Threads in the city of Itatiba, in the state of São Paulo.

The waxed polyester cord is composed of high tenacity polyester filaments. Original Linhasita® waxing technology differentiates their cords by making them more resistant to bright sun, friction, contact with skin acid and salt water. Linhasita waxed polyester cord is very durable and washable.

RHODIUM PLATED STERLING SILVER 925 /made in China

Chain is made from a base of sterling silver that is coated in a thin layer of rhodium.

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals. The added metals in sterling silver make it an incredibly durable material — it's even stronger than gold.

The rhodium plating is a electroplating process which gives the sterling silver its ultra white colour by placing a coating over the existing metal.

Jewelry plated in rhodium is shinier and more durable than other metals. Rhodium plating does not scratch, dent, or corrode and retains its luster.

Rhodium is nickel-free, non-toxic and completely safe.
